On The Street, 2009

A short film made with Youths groups from schools in Clondalkin, and members of Young filmmakers club, Tallaght, in conjunction with South Dublin County Council Arts office and Clondalkin Partnership. This work was filmed in Clondalkin and exhibited at PCP, Dublin, June 2009.

Description: This work addresses the tensions between possibility and non action, arising for the current economic climate. It portrays a group of children queueing on a street in Clondalkin, West Dublin. The children wait outside the local social welfare building. As we see more adults queueing we are left with uncertainty for the future of our children.
