The film looks at the relationship between cinema and architecture, and the tension created between architectural space used in cinema and real space. It explores cinema’s capacity to function in a similar way, to describe the fictional utopian dream of what was once a planned housing estate in a post-apocalyptic future, casting the estate as desolate dystopia. The work was filmed in a ghost estate in Clane, Co. Kildare.
